It's been so long since I updated anything. There's so much that has happened that would take years to accurately describe, but I'll try and be concise.
I can't believe you got screwed over like that for that position. That's just such a low thing to do. And the whinging friend sounds like a major PITA, frankly. What a baby. I'm most disappointed in the manager, though. I'd be so embarrassed to face you after hiring another person for the position I originally asked you to apply for. How does she look you in the eye? I'm sorry the job situation is taking so long to resolve itself, but it does sound like you got plans in place for the time being.
I think she knows she screwed me over and doesn't know what to say about it, so we just don't talk about it. Something came up last night when she and her hubby were here and I snapped at her because I'm just getting fed up about the entire thing and she didn't know how to react.
