Prayer for Worthiness
(Adapted by Elizabeth Kaufman from a prayer by Mama Rose)

I am worthy, I am good, I am bright, I am a blessing.
I am worthy in my skin and worthy in my hair.
I am worthy in my flesh and worthy in my bone.
I am worthy in my hands and worthy in my feet.
I am worthy in my mouth and worthy in my womb.
I am good in my heart and good in my belly.
I am good in my work and good in my play.
I am good in my relations and good in my alonenesses.
I am good in my beliefs and good in my skepticisms.
I am good in my ancestry and good in my progeny.
I am bright in my spirit and bright in my flesh.
I am bright in my emotions and bright in my thoughts.
I am bright in my dreams and bright in my waking.
I am bright in the desert and bright in the city.
I am bright among friends and bright among strangers.
I am a blessing to my parents and a blessing to my siblings.
I am a blessing to strangers and a blessing to friends.
I am a blessing in your home and a blessing on the street.
I am a blessing in my words and a blessing in my deeds.
I am a blessing in my work and a blessing in my play.
I am worthy.
I am good.
I am bright.
I am a blessing.
Mother make it.
Lover witness it.
I have said it.
So mote it be.

The Laws of Nature
By Francesca DeGrandis

I know the Laws of Nature are you, Lady.
Keep me mindful, that I step upon your body,
with your feet,
that my sorrows are your sorrows,
that a healthy priestess makes all things sound.
I feel your breath in the wind, and your hand in mine.
Keep me sincere.
Give me your work,
which is to be joyous and to tend all things,
Because all things live,
of themselves,
and with your spirit.
Your will through mine, so mote it be.
