Just a few things that ran through my mind after watching the latest episode of BSG...

It's behind the cut to avoid spoilers.

I don't dislike Laura Roslin's wig, but I do keep catching myself seeing icons, BSG pics, clips, fanvids and so on and thinking 'Wow, her hair really was beautiful in that...dang! To think we'll probably never get another ( Read more... )

She's having sex with Cottle, didn't you know?And when she is spaced out, she's actually watching him get naked behind one of the curtains. Her closing her eyes was her pretending to sleep so Bill would leave and Cottle could give her an 'examination'

LMAO as much as I would love to, smut is not my thing LOL I can plan out stories but I prefer angst and tension ;)

Me too! :) I can't write smut to save my life. Well...I suppose I could write it to save my life, but I don't think I could write it for the fun of it. It just isn't something that comes easily when I'm writing, so I don't force it.

I also prefer to write angst, mystery and suspense. Occasionally I like a nice happy fic, but it depends on how the mood strikes me.

I guess it could be why she took his arm as she was walking up the stairs. Or it could just be she wanted a hold of her man. Looking forward to finding out. :)

I'll take some Laura/Cottle. If Bill's not giving her a good schtupping, I'm sure Kack is up to the job. :P

Aaaw, it was such a Family Unit vibe. Like, "Our son's a pain in the ass // yeah but he's our son // but why does he have to be a pain in the ass?" Dammit, Lee. You flew the coup, rebelled, now start behaving like Captain Apollo and bring on the nice.

I don't think that she's going blind. The whole look me in the eyes thing could have been her letting Baltar that her condition is serious and that the life is leaving her eyes.

As for the dying leader thing. In a sense the Laura we knew in season one isn't the same Laura we know now in season 4. She's changed. She was like Lee is now before the attack and had to change. So she could be dying in that sense. Am I making any sense here?

I would agree with you about the Baltar 'look into my eyes' conversation but I get the impression that the way in which she told him to look into her eyes was significant. It wasn't merely a case of 'look me in the eye while I say all of this', she actually said 'you can probably see it' when she told him to look into her eyes. That means that there is something there for him to see, in her eyes.

You made total sense when you were talking about Laura's change being a form of dying. It's true, her old self is dying, her new self is something completely different at times.

Though, if that means that her new self is open to a relationship with Adama :) I'm all for it! :D
