:) Thank you. I am so glad that my Zarek is meeting with approval. I do LOVE to write Zarek it seems. I've also discovered a love of writing Tory scenes.

Thank you so much for giving me feedback. I would still write for my own amusement even if no one read it, but knowing that someone has read and enjoyed a fic I've written just makes me so happy that writing more comes even easier.

I have a question about what inspired this Roslin/Zarek scene, since you mentioned that this story contains some spoilers. It's one I'm pretty sure you've heard, but to be on the safe side. . . . I'm thinking of the picture people examined to determine that Laura would wear a wig this season

Ok, it's the picture where Laura is sitting in the dark, talking to a man in the shadow. A lot of people thought it was Bill, but I'm convinced that the shadow has Zarek's nose.

Have you seen the episode this picture comes from? It's Adama but for a long time I did question whether it was Zarek or not. I do think he is suspiciously absent from the show right now and I imagine that he must be meeting with Laura Roslin from time to time, so why aren't we seeing those scenes? I think there's a twist waiting to happen there.

I do think that it's Leoben who's being airlocked Well I can't say either way, but I was surprised that the first person people thought of was Adama :) I hadn't realised that came across so strongly.

But the lie is a lie, and the fact remains: she's good at it. LOL! That's so true. She is good at it, and she's getting better. Hark back to the mini series and Laura Roslin was then what Lee Adama is now, an idealist who didn't realise that things could so easily fall apart when rules and principles weren't flexible

After reading your last comment, I am sooo excited! *bounces* I squealed out loud when I read this: I admit I had decided not to write an epilogue because I was working on other things, but you know what, I'm totally going to write you an epilogue now. *Hugs you* right back!!!! I totally love your fics, even before I "met" you. (I read them on SI before I became a member, with the ability to comment.) And now? I'm really excited that you like comments, because I like making them. :D Perhaps a little bit too much! Sometimes, I write more in other people's LJs than I do in my own. LOL. I'm still learning about LJ. I got my account just before Season 4 came out, explicitly for BSG. Yep. I love the show that much. :D

I actually began this LJ for my fandom, though it's ended up as almost entirely BSG :) I have a personal LJ but I rarely update that now and generally I just use it to keep in touch with my ex housmates in America.

I've been trying to get into writing that epilogue and in the process of getting back into the Chamalla and Ambrosia fic, I've ended up with a couple of new little happy-fics which I will post on Survival Instinct hopefully tonight. A change from my usual love of angst :) I'm actually just going to refer to you as my muse for these two because I would never have come up with these if you hadn't asked for more Chamalla and Ambrosia. :D

I totally agree with you about Laura/Lee. He really is a version of her. It's so true, which is why I think their relationship comes across so strongly these days as a strained parent/child relationship rather than their mini-series possible pairing relationship.

The episode 9 spoiler? Do you mean the one about what Laura Roslin says to Bill Adama? :D Because I LOVE that spoiler! I hope it's true.

Unless you mean a new spoiler? I'm not against spoilers if there's a new one :D

I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter. I'm not giving anything away :) All I'll say is that it's going to get darker and I'm not against twists :D
