stingrays!

mom and brother are out of town so my dad and i took advantage of the fact and went to the zoo. there's a special exhibit on stringrays where you pay $3 and get to pet the stingrays all you want. it's essentially a big shallow pool with 30 or so stingrays inside it and you stand on the sides and hope to get to touch them. which my dad and i did.

i think chinatown can smell not unpleasant. i don't know about "good."
it's been pretty walkable this cold, wet summer though.
