COngrats!!! Pretty soon, you'll be able to teach a class in this stuff! Or, initiate someone into the Tolkien "mysteries".

Boy you are fast. I just finished posting. I think I need to study some more. Guess I'll just have to go back and reread the book. Actually, the test also had a lot of Hobbit questions and I haven't read that book in years. I think I handled the Silmarillion questions alright.

I keep trying to post this response and it just isn't happening!

I may have to give that a try this weekend. I doubt I'll do very well unless all of the questions are about hobbits. LOL

Part of the problem was all the questions from the Hobbit. I haven't read that in years. If you do better than me I will cry because I don't think you have been studying elves and the Silmarillion for the last 1 1/2 years like I have. I think I need to take it again.

I got almost none of the Silmarillion questions right. The one or two that I managed were complete guesses. I own a copy of the Silmarillion but I've only managed to read parts of it so I am a complete failure at anything to do with the Silmarillion. I did pretty well with questions from The Hobbit. I did not beat your score so don't cry. I only got a 39.
