I never thought I would lose my LOTR intensity, but it has been replaced for the last few months with Jeeves and Wooster, of all things. I'm reading their fan fiction now. I don't know why, but I'm stuck on it. Kind of embarrassing, whot? I don't believe I have abandoned LOTR, still checking in on those writers

I am so sorry about your daughter, she's had a bunch of challenges already and now this! The one hopeful thing is that each year they come up with new medications and therapies - and breakthroughs. I have never heard of this, it sounds intense.
And, the hamsters! How dare they make an exit now! ; )
But, my condolences - pets are often a small and sweet thing in a world of stress (I feel that way about my dog now)
Nice to see an update, we should talk one time relatively soon.

The hamsters were very sweet girls, although I do not miss cleaning their cage. They were very tame and liked to waddle around. But you know I am more a cat person.
I save up all the big things in my life and post them all at once, that is why it sounds so dramatic and traumatizing.
Actually, life is good. I should try and post more - the little things in life...
