Air Quotes the Bold

You know, Air Quotes the Bold is a really cool name for a D&D character.

Yesterday, I had a really weird dream. I was back in high school and was getting my report card back from my teacher, who happened to be Savage Garden. You know, the band. The grading system was weird too, with there only being A's, C's, D's, and F's. Anyway, my report card was mainly all D's with one or two C's, and the comments section said things like "You have been inconsistent with your work. For example, your busywork at the beginning of the year should have been faster, and your busywork now is faster and more accurate than nearly anyone in the class." I was very confused at this point in the dream, considering that the comment itself meant I was, in fact, consistently improving. Which should have been a good thing. And Savage Garden never actually told me before the report card that my beginning busywork was too slow.

I would have been worried at this point, but Savage Garden is fucking retarded and has no business being a teacher to begin with, so what is the point? As God said to Job in Job 38:1-4: "QQ Moar."

I haven been having other dreams, but I can only remember the endings. The one from Monday night had me waking up in my dream and seeing all sorts of scorpions crawling on the walls and ceilings, which vexed me greatly. I then opened my character sheet and noted that I was immune to poison, then went back to sleep.

The one on Sunday had something to do with some terrorists taking my family hostage in some remote jungle mansion I owned. The scene (for lack of a better word) where my children and wife came home was particularly cinematic because the kids were doing a "monster check" behind the doors and in the closets when the 5 year old daughter said "Found one" as the terrorist walked into my office. I remember being escorted out to the makeshift dirt runway and then shoved face-down. The terrorist bent down and said "You will feel a slight pressure and taste something metallic." He then shot me in the back of the head.

Don't think I need a book to figure that one out.
