Appearance: Yuriy has a very unique appearance for a Russian male, having bright blue eyes and naturally red vibrant hair - however, he has the typical fair skin and heavy eyebrows. Long ago he used to style his hair in two large spikes to both sides of his head and long side bangs reaching to just touch his collarbone. How a days he usually leaves it down which had it at a length to just touch his shoulders and his side bangs two or three inches longer. He has a pretty yet strong face and full eyelashes. Yuriy is very tall and slender, standing at 5'10 and 1/2" and weighing in at 152.5lbs. His muscles are toned and tight, nothing excessive. Strong and lean arms and legs with a bit of meat on the thighs and a soft yet impressively strong stomach with gentle and long fingers. He's what most people would consider a pretty boy, but he's not a prissy boy who cries over a broken nail that's for sure.
In clothing, Yuriy is often found wearing full body snow suits in white, blue, and orange - or heavy and comfortable clothing. However it does vary on where he is or what he is doing and so on.
Personality: The red hair should be a give away, this puppy is a wild one. He has some insanely intense mood swings. Think of every emotion that exists in the world, good and bad, and throw it in a pot - put it on to boil and voila, you have Yuriy Ivanov. No matter how much Yuriy could try, or anyone else could try for that matter, it was absolutely impossible to keep this wolf on a leash. He's hot-headed, stubborn, and very quick to anger. Sometimes he borders instability and you could easily question whether this kid has borderline personality disorder or not. Yuiry is prideful and sometimes quite arrogant. His pride is both a strength and a weakness. He is determined, perseverance, and passionate, albeit a little power hungry and also quick to get jealous. He can have a sharp mouth on him that can sting almost worse than any punch he'd throw He can be a ruthless son of a bitch for lack of better words. Although while it seems like he sometimes has a vendetta against the world he has a strong hatred for himself as well.
However, while he definitely has his faults, he has his good sides too. He is passionate not just in his anger and perseverance but in a general overtone. If you get close enough to him you might be able to see his more kind and gentle side. He can be very loving, and is extremely loyal and faithful. To those he cares about, they are his life and he would jump the bullet for each and every one of them. He's very protective, and he can be, on rare occasion, very self-sacrificing.

Weaknesses: This kid has emotional issues coming out his ass. While it isn't always extroverted, he has some very severe moments of mental and emotional instability. Guilt, repression, hatred, paranoia, the list goes on and on and these mood swings are extreme, though they can also be subtle. One second he's laughing and the next second he threw a bot of boiling water at your head. This makes him unpredictable which can be a strength but it also makes him instable and irrational which is a huge weakness. It also transfers into the power that was given to him when he merged with his bitbeast. Sometimes he looses control of his powers due to his insane thirst for power, and, well . . . lets just hope whoever was in his way gets to a heater in time. At the age of only five he was abandoned. However, not being alone in this at all, he met a young boy named Ivan one day playing a game known as Beyblade. The game easily piqued Yuriy's interest and they quickly became friends. As it turned, Ivan was also abandoned at young and had been taken in by a man named Balcoff who ran Balcoff Abbey. Balcoff was known for taking in young and often abandoned children and turning them in to bey-soldiers. He worked for a company known as Biovolt who's aim was, through unique technology in the Beyblades and manipulation of ancient beasts known as bitbeasts, to take over the world with the gathered power of these supernatural beasts which resided within the blades.
Within the basement of the Abbey, Yuriy trained to be an emotionless soldier in order to fight in the tournaments and gather the bitbeasts. The trainined was harsh and sometimes seen as cruel and sadistic in methods. It was in this home where he had met both Sergei and Boris whom were amongst the highest ranking in process alongside Yuriy and Ivan. This was also where Yuriy met his rival. Hiwatari Kai, the Grandson of the man behind everything, Voltaire, also resided within the abbey for quite some time. Kai, being both intelligent and talented was favoured by Balcoff and Voltaire. Yuriy, while being trained to be emotionless - was always unable to be, and therefore his desire for power and recognition above Kai could only grow. Although when Kai was offered to be the leader of the Abbey's official team, he declined and moved out on his own.
Yuriy was second place, and he took the job gladly. These four - Ivan, Sergei, Boris, and Yuriy - formed the team known as Blitzkreig Boys, and soon became well known within Russia's streets and tournaments. When the world tournament came to Russia, the Blitzkreig Boys quickly made a name for themselves - never beaten a day in their lives; until they met Takao, a young ambitious blader from the leading American team known as the blade breakers. Loosing the world finals to this man, Yuriy and the Blitzkreig Boys return home to some less than flattering punishments and more training.
For an entire year Yuriy was trapped in the abbey and underwent critical training and advancements. His lust for power only grew and soon brought him to desperation. Balcoff and the other scientist worked on enhancing his bitbeast known as wolborg cybernetically. For awhile there, particularly upon his return to the Beyblading tournaments two years later, the training and the enhancements seemed to have worked. However a battle with Garland placed Yuriy into a coma for almost two weeks. His desperation only grew. Balcoff decided to take a chance at a new technology. Enhancing Yuriy physically, emotionally, and mentally through unique micro-cybernetic treatments, the redhaired Russian was ready to rip again in no time. The aim of these treatments was to make him emotionless, and ruthless
Little by little, however, the treatments began to wear off. That, or the wolf known as Yuriy was simply too strong to control through emotional compressing. The chemicals and micro-technology running through his body slowly made him a little crazy (more than he already were) and in the last battle of the finals, he snapped. Completely loosing it and completely loosing the tournament. However, after finally coming to his senses he took the defeat in stride and returned home. Although Balcoff did not take it in stride.
Upon returning Balcoff lost it on the three - Sergei, Boris, and Yuriy. Knowing what had happened to Ivan, they fought against him together. The battle was long ,and hard, and blood shedding - but in the end the three boys had won; or had they. Yuriy was found once again in a state near death, only this time it was worse, much worse. In an unexpected act, however, Yuriy's bitbeast Wolborg saved his life by giving Yuriy his power and fusing with him. Now, it seemed, Yuriy's nickname "wolfy" or "the wolf" was quite true.
After this the Abbey's facilities was closed down. For a small while both Boris and Sergei stayed with Yuriy in the abbey living off whatever they could. Though one by one they finally left. Unable to beyblade anymore, Yuriy took up underground and street fighting for awhile to get some fast cash with the consideration of becoming a soldier as his father was. However before he could consider it much further he was pulled away from his world. At twenty years, he was brought to a place known as Econtra.
