You're right on the mark here. Being attractive opens so many doors that I can't blame you for considering the concept of trying to choose the best genetics for your offspring. Perhaps people who are attractive don't realize it, but having an aesthetically pleasing appearance means that you don't have to overcome that first impression of "He's okay, but he's got nasty skin." or "I like her, but she really needs to drop about 50 pounds."

I could start rambling here, so I'll be quiet now, but being attractive can help in that critical first impression and that often is all you get.

There are some things that I would have problems with, but others that I'm all for.
For example, redheads have become almost an endangered species.
If there was a way I could guarantee having a redheaded baby, I'd be interested.
