But I wonder if I hold the record for "most alternate versions". I've got THREE Rogers & Hammerstein's Cinderella (Julie Andrews, Leslie Warren, and Brandy) plus the Disney animation, and 3 Pure Peter Pans (Mary Martin, Disney, and the recent version) plus Return to Neverland

Well, without looking, I know I've got at least 3 versions of Robin Hood (Disney, Costner, and Flynn), and I'm pretty sure I've got 1 or 2 more. Same with Zorro. If you get into the classic stories, though, (Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserable, well, Phantom of the Opera, for some definitions of classics), I've known people with close to a dozen.

We won't go into how many copies of Star Wars I have. It's not pretty.
