That was great. Little by little, Jensen is proving he's more than just a sorry whore, and I love that he got one over Jeff. With every update you do, I expect the other shoe to drop, and for something terrible to happen. So glad that this wasn't that update.

I damn near spit my drink all over the keyboard after reading that last line,I laughed so hard ;)

It's nice to see Jensen as more than just a victim, and this little interlude shows us him finding his feet in what most see as a commonplace get together.

Loved Jared getting his feathers ruffled because they sprung the gathering on them, loved Jensen more for taking it so in his stride.

As for Jeff, well he's being an asshole, enough said.

Great update, I'm looking forward to reading more of this verse.

Goodness, Megan really took a lot on herself, inviting the family without Jared's knowledge. I'm not sure I would have been as accepting as Jared, ha! Jensen is so laid back about things it's kind of scary. He's super-observant though, and I love his thoughts about Jared's family and what's happening. He likes Gerald, so I hope that the man's actually as welcoming as he seems.

I thought this was a *very* interesting update, with a bit more revealed about both of them.

It certainly was a bold move by Megan, and I guess most of the reason Jared didn't freak out more was because he didn't want to make a scene, especially since Jensen said he's okay with it.

Glad you liked Jensen's behavior in this chapter and his view on things. About Gerry... I guess only time will tell ;)
