Okay, so I'm trying to get into Battlestar Galactica. I loved the original and once I got past Boomer and Starbuck being girls the mini-series was good. The series however is not really holding my interest. It's kind of a slow moving soap opera. I'm currently halfway through season two and debating whether or not to keep going ( Read more... )

Dude, I'm so with you on BSG!! I loved the original and was excited as hell for the new series. I even kind of love Starbuck being a girl because he was my least favorite character in the original series. But...it just falls flat for me. Both Mr. HH and I have tried multiple times to get into the show but we always get bored. :sigh: So many of my friends are completely in love the show but I just. don't. get. it.

I suppose you don't want to hear that we are in our second day of 70+ degree temps? :-) It won't last but it sure it nice now!

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one not digging BSG. It was this huge show and people were talking about it but I don't get it. Oh well.

Ah, 70...I have a vague recollection of 70 from December right before Christmas. I just have to be patient and spring will eventually get here.

BTW, I thought of you the other day. I'm cleaning closets and found an old copy of George magazine with Bono on the cover. Interested? I'd be happy to send it to you.

No, BSG is not doing it for us and all of my friends are so excited about the damn show. I feel kind of left out. I think when they all come out on dvd, we might try again.

The last time we had temperatures like this was back in October! I'm basking in again today but we'll be back to 52 and raining by tomorrow. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.

Sure, I'd love the Bono cover magazine if you don't mind sending it my way!

No problem. I'll hit you up via email for your address and send it out this weekend. There's an interview, it's probably 10yrs old or so. I'm trying to declutter but I hate just throwing things away so I'm glad to find a home for it.
