Take the first line of the first post from every month in 2011 (not counting memes), and post it. This becomes your year in review.
January: So I'm sort of spilling my heart out to a guy on msn at midnight, which I don't think is a fantastic idea, but here I go.
February: This whole video is gorgeous.
March: I'm supposed to be writing a short story for school and, about a paragraph in, I realised I was just channelling fandom's teenage!Brendon characterisation for my main character.
April: I came, I saw, I conquered promptly failed and then returned home.
May: [no posts, seems I actually did commit to studying for a while]
June: [no posts]
July: I'm going to take a break from fandom for a little while, probably until I graduate and finish the HSC in November.
August: I've got a new moodtheme!
September: Pedicone has left/ been kicked out of MCR.
October: I'm just going to sit here and admire my new layout. *____*
November: I'm not one for make up, really.
December: So I went on to check my flist for a minute before I have to leave for my Nonna's for the next two days, only to find THIS VIDEO plastered all over it. WTAF, MCR? :DDD
Well, I suppose that's a fairly accurate summation of my year- being MIA for two months, declaring that I'm going to take a break from LJ only to be back on here every few days from there onwards. It's been a good year! Still got a few weeks and I might write a proper retrospective when it gets closer to New Years, but this'll do for now.
I didn't talk about it last week, but both Community and Parks&Rec were lovely. Community was hilarious and the Glee parody was spot on. I'm really going to miss these guys in the indeterminable amount of time until it returns. ;___; Parks and Rec seemed to have less substance but was ridiculously heartwarming anyway, and funny too. Ron's face after showing Leslie's gift was pricelesss, as was all the Leslie-Chris interaction. I have no idea where the Leslie/Ben storyline is going, but it'll be interesting to see where they take it now. No more Parks and Rec tomorrow, right? Has the midseason break started already? I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE US TV SCHEDULE AT ALL.
Oh well I still have Misfits, New Girl (which I will talk about it at some point!), SHERLOCK AFTER NEW YEARS :DDDD, and ~*DOCTOR WHO CHRISTMAS SPECIAL*~. So I'm all good!
Oh, and I got a 96.65 ATAR. This means I'm set for all the uni courses I'll ever want to get into, so... yay!
