I still don't understand what Pauline's purpose was in this episode unless it was to give us some Aramis backstory? Nice but not exactly necessary. Also, a girl who is so excited to have a silk dress wanders into dung-strewn stables and then stabs a guy without thinking about getting blood on said silk dress? Ugh, this sideplot did not work for me.
