The Musketeers 3.07: The Marquis de Sade don't wear no boots like these

Who needs to go outside and experience Britain's requisite three days of summer when you could stay indoors and get sweaty watching the Musketeers? Not me, certainly. Here are my thoughts about ( Fool’s Gold... )

You are really bad causing me to giggle like a mad woman while my husband watched cricket. Brilliant as always. Thanks.

Thank you so much: mad giggles are my favourite kind of critical response. ;-D

At the start of the series I wondered why Rupert Everett appeared last in the title sequence when everyone else was in alphabetical order. Now I realise it's so they could remove his name halfway through without it looking weird. :(

When Athos got poisoned, I initially thought she'd nicked his jugular with the needle, and was quite concerned that they were going to kill him off! (Anything seems possible after last week!) And I too was expecting someone to ask Roger "What is it, boy?" :D

I adored that brief scene with Louis and Treville, haha. And I actually said "It's complicated..." out loud when Aramis was asked about having kids - great minds!

This was a lovely episode for Porthos. :)

I was actually a bit worried that Athos might genuinely bite the bullet too... it's this impending end-of-the-series-forever thing, it's got me terribly on edge!

Thank you - that was wonderful, as always.
My friend suggested that along with the poison, she unknowingly injected him with a double dose of penicillin, hence the repair to his Awful Wound. And I wondered why Aramis, reputed in some circles to be team medic, didn't bring his own needle and thread, and, like Aragorn, nip round the forest for the very thing needed to stop the AW getting any worse. Instead he just shrugged and accepted her word.
But hey, these are minor points. Give the hurt/comfort award to Tom, er, Athos, and let's see how many ways Milady can put him through the emotional wringer next week. And I love the others too - especially dear Porthos. What a whizz of a mate he is.

Your friend's penicillin theory is a darn sight more convincing as my "magic pixies" idea, quite frankly...

Love your reviews. I'm surprised you missed all the nodding I counted at least eight😜

Nodding? I didn't notice any excessive nodding: which bit of the show was that?

I was sure the Queen's dress was accessorised with carrots.

Co-ordinated carrot storage pouches: just the thing every monarch-about-town needs to accessorize her daywear!
