I already knew about Treville's death because people kept thoughtlessly spoilering it in the discussion threads for previous episodes, which is annoying, though I guess it spared me from another horrible shock like Feron's. :/ Poor Treville, and Louis - I was disappointed that he left us so soon and suddenly, too. He was always my favourite. :(
I laughed at Treville telling Anne "NO-ONE is protected here!", acknowledging the utter lack of guards at the palace...
Again, thanks for starting my day with a smile, even one tainted with sadness. Poor Treville, that was a shock. I shall certainly join you , hanky and Gin in hand , for yor debriefing and the wake for our gorgeous boys. Boohoo.
Aramis's mind was like a broken record, it was almost hilarious how everyone had to keep telling him to "FUCKING FOCUS FOR ONE SECOND, ARAMIS". Anyway Anne and Aramis's thwarted parental feelings indirectly led to Treville dying but what a dramatic, epic death. At least he went out like a pro.
Just as regally wilful in his own way, the Mini-King decides to become a mini-Bucky Barnes, escaping from his hidey-hole and running away in search of PLUMS.
Hahahaha..I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of bucky when I saw him reaching for the plums!
I was devastated by Treville's death but like you I do want all our Muskeboys to live so...
I look forward to reading your final, brilliant review for this fabulous show.
