Love my girl, but she is a crying maniac right now. For the most part, she's o.k. But sometimes........ It's what makes me so nervous about flying to GA with her. It's a redeye, and I just hope she doesn't scream and cry the whole time, forcing everyone on the plane to try to kill me. Ugh ( Read more... )

Yay for the extended time off! I mean, it stinks that it's because you've been working so much (hello, time off means NO WORK) but at least your boss sounds like a really good guy. I can't think of many others who would just offer to let their employees continue their leave without the employees asking first ( ... )

Sydney went through her crying spell a few weeks ago. Honestly, the only reason I think she stopped is because she started to see further & is so nosey. Seriously if I give her something new to look at she's fine (sometimes entertained for up to half an hour)!

You should be fine during the trip. Give Arrena something to suck on during take-off & landing. I'm betting the lull of the plane will put her to sleep the rest of the flight.

I don't use photobucket so I don't have any advice there.. sorry.

One more question - I know you posted this way back in the day, but I forgot. How do you pronounce Arrena's name? Is it with a e sound like Arena (as in Arena Football) or is it with an eh sound like wren the bird or renn like in rennaissance?

Or is it none of the above?

Kate, her name is pronounced with an A and ee, like Arena.

Your earlier post re: pictures, cuts off just when I needed it(!). Figures. haha!

I'm good. Dreading going back to work, even with my reprieve. Mainly worried about taking the girl to Savannah at the end of the month. I need a nanny! But I feel good, and I've been out of the house a good deal lately, so my mental health isn't too stressed.
