I was accidentally watching Fox local news just now, and they were running a story on a video of two girls beating each other up, or something close to that. Fox invites their viewers to send missives on such things, and here was the prompt:

They go to Wikipedia and they look up "violence", and then they want to try it out! If not for the internet, they'd never realize such a thing existed, much like Leeloo's discovery of WAR.

Wow. That's easily one of the most offensive things I've heard from the media in a long time. Right below the radio show where they told callers, "If your husband isn't making at least twice what you are, then you are a crazy loser who will probably die in the gutter." That's paraphrased. But just barely.
