PREACH. This is pretty much all truth. I'm itching to see the movie again, it was that good. I bawled more than I've ever bawled during a movie. And I totally have a crush on Peeta/Josh Hutcherson now. :D

Oh, awesome. :D The way everything came together...they so made the best of the movie medium. And I waaanted Catching Fire straightaway; I guess the only way to scratch that itch is to rewatch!

HAHAHA, I know, when did Jesse-from-Terabithia grow up?? That jaw! That bulk!

It REALLY WAS. <3 In many ways, it actually enhanced the book. And that’s the best way you can pay homage to a source material.

Josh had perfectly captured the look of someone who just realized that not only is he going into an arena to fight to the death, but he's going with the one girl he's had feelings for most of his life.
EXACTLY. He looked all hollowed OUT. When they’re both standing on the platform?? Dang. Wrecking ball to both their souls.

And I loved that the whole movie was so good at showing characters' emotions at the events - whether the emotions are bottled up or not. Fantastic actors.
So much emotions! You know the acting was good when you can read a character’s thoughts by an actor’s face. They really dissolved into the people they were playing.

but a lot of the pieces they left out were at least framed in a way that could have conceivably happened behind the scenes and really did make sense to leave out of the movie, so it was all right.Yeah, I don’t think the plot was altered significantly by anything they left ( ... )
