McGonagall's pov on the aftermat of the battle is overwhelm with feelings...

Oh gosh, I'm happy you enjoyed reading this, even if I know it was on the angsty side. The battle was such a terrible and moving moment, and my heart was going to the teachers. McGonagall is a beautiful character, underused in fanfiction, and I wanted to write this for me. Thank you for making my day a bit brighter. :)

I just discovered your LJ and this made me cry. I have been reading HP fanfic for quite a while and very, very rarely cry, in fact I had only cried once before I read this. You had tears streaming down my face by "Lavender's, dear God." Thank you for this incredible piece.
