All Blues
Characters: Harry, Luna  (Harry/Ginny)
Rating: Pg-13
Genre: Flangst - all the way.

Warning: Don't read if you think you could dislike me for breaking up Luna and Dean. ;) I'm mad enough to write Harry first person- who knew? Not beta read. I’m usually canon inclined ship-wise and happy with it, and the friendship between Harry and Luna has ( Read more... )

Red I am always impressed with the wonderful way you craft phrases and the methods you use with the language. You really should never worry about the limitations of your vocabulary because I can't see anything wrong with the way you write. You write absolutely wonderful stuff. And this story is no different. It was a tremendous story, and really moving.

You would probably be better than me to find the suitable words that would describe those feelings I have for you.

That is such a fantastic and sentimental line that you came up with. I am bookmarking this story for sure.

I adore you Red.

Thanks for reading and commenting. I appreciate it. :)

I've been writing and rewriting some parts of the story for a while, and I'm happy how it turned out. I'm glad the emotion came through. The last sentence I was not so sure about, but I'm relieved you feel like it works!

I can't hate you as much as I might want to (:P) because this was just stellar.

You really are so so so good with Luna. You understand a side of her that I don't think most people do.

I love how you've painted her friendship with Harry here. It's awkward and not always clear, but it's strong and deep and wonderful too. It really feels like they each have a part of them that only the other is able to reach.

You used a tired cliché, and of all the unusual things you did that day, that was the one that bugged me the most.

Perfect. Absolutely. Both for Harry and Luna.

So much ♥ for you and this. Excellently and beautifully rendered story, dear.

Well, I'm glad you don't hate me. :P

I like Luna. I really, really like her. Harry and Luna's friendship is something that I would love to read more about, and I wanted to explore that a bit without being too explicative. I'm glad you felt like it works here.

That line you mentionned - yay! I'm happy with this one.

Thank you for reading. I appreciate it.

Just lovely red. You convey emotions with such delicacy and with such beautiful language. You know these characters-all of them-so well. I love the portrait of them gathering with their children.

And this "People cannot stand to see you so naked. They have to cover themselves. They have to drape their minds in thick cloaks of disdain, because seeing you so bare hurts them." Wow, just wow, so insightful and spot-on.

Oh gosh, thank you for reading. I appreciate your comment. I tend to stand away to write dialogue-heavy stories because, well, it's not a surprise, but I'm not a native speaker, and I know that I miss some of English oral rules.

I like that sentence you pointed out - it seemed to me that this fits Luna. She's authentic, and my, does that scare people.

Oh, that is insanely gorgeous!! I love Harry's voice and his vision of Luna, and I love how much Luna shines through, even in her sadness!!

So many wonderful lines and thoughts, but the one that has stuck with me is her assessment that she never was much of a still-life ... OMG!!! Such a poignant though and so true to her character!!

Thanks for reading, S. I know that you are not particularly fond of Luna, and I'm glad you enjoyed this portrayal of her through her friendship with Harry,

I'm absurdely proud of that line you pointed out. :D Thanks for your kind words.

Oh no ... I LOVE Luna post-OOTP!! (well, as long as she's not with Ron *giggle*)

And you are one of the best Luna writers! I love the way you see her soul!
