I was talking to a buddy about how shocked I was Neil Rackers was booted for Graham Gano, and then my buddy pointed out that we now have Billy Cundiff. Working and living in Baltimore, it was one of the first things I heard yesterday.

I wasn't jumping for joy, but I don't think it's worse.

My Baltimore friends sure seem to LOVE "rubbing it in" that we got Cundiff, though. But again, it's not like it was necessarily a downgrade - Gano wasn't really any better. Baltimore fans just love to hate on their own team when they're not 100% perfect. The amount of vitriol they spout out for Flacco every year is amazing. I keep telling them, if you hate him that much, we'd love to have him. (Though ask me again in 5 months, once we see how Mr. Griffin plays.)

Only guy I ever saw kick worse than Gano was Suisham, so I am happy to get someone who at least once in their life made a Pro Bowl.

Hopefully he won't pull a Nate Kaeding and have a great season then miss every shot in an important playoff game.

I JUST WANT THE PLAYOFF GAME!
