The Giants got crushed, the Eagles got Crushed, the Ravens lost, the Cowboys lost and the Skins were the only team in the NFC east to win over the weekend...I'm happy. :)

But yeah they didn't play well at all. :( Good news is that Ryan Kerrigan is still a beast.'

Bad news is Morris walked off with an injury. Luckily it doesn't seem to be too bad of an injury?

Morris has got some rib contusions. Per Shanny post-game presser there are no broken ribs.

The other bad news is that after next week the skins will be the only team in the NFC East to still have to play the Broncos and Chiefs...so that's more than likely another two losses we can count on that the other teams have already accounted for. Bottom line...we put ourselves in a hole by losing to beatable teams like the Eagles and Lions because our offense wasn't ready to play at the start of the season. After yesterday, they still don't look ready to play...

GOOD! I'm glad, because I love my Alfie as much as Kerrigan. :)

Yeah! True...:( Just really poor decisions made in training camp and pre-season(not to mention LAST season)...but I guess he just wasn't ready to go yet. :/

Other than Seattle taking the win (and a few other misses on my picks), for me it was an excellent football day. Would've been perfect if we'd actually looked good winning, but you know.

Also anti-Ravens here :) Up until this past year I have had no problems with the franchise but as a resident of Baltimore working downtown, the fans are incredibly cocky and really need an ego-adjustment in the worst way. I develop a hatred for any team who just seems to always be on top, especially when they're always telling me I should switch to rooting for a "real football team."

Hey, I'll take the silver linings when I can get them. A win is a win and we got it, but beating Oakland should never be that ugly. And last year the bye did wonders for us.... I am hoping we'll have a repeat but I'm not holding my breath (as that would be too long ( ... )

Thanks. I was hoping that the Steelers would pull out the last-second tie and at least send the game into overtime. But, alas, no. I think we'll just call this a "rebuilding year" and go from there.

(Or maybe Coach Tomlin can come out and suggest that "we're not concerned about the rest of this year, we're just going to see who's going to be around next year." After all, it worked well for Shanahan and the Skins last year! :-) )
