I am happy with the move. I seemed to be the one person happy with the offensive talent last year outside of the o-line, and having a receiver to take some pressure off the top and help get Garcon open only enhances that. This is especially good for a run-heavy offense ( Read more... )

I feel pretty much the same way. I am happy about it- I know there are concerns but it's a good move. And with only $15 million guaranteed, for three years (the same time some, uh, notable players' rookie contracts run out), I think it's a pretty solid deal. I see no reason to believe he's going to be getting into any more trouble than he already did- which isn't much in 6 years. He's young, he's talented and he wants to win.

I'm certainly fine with the cuts, and I am pleased with other signings so far, but honestly I feel pretty good about things every year. A bit of wishful thinking (it's what keeps me going), and not hit quite so hard by it after last year, but I like what I see. Bruce done good.
