I am so psyched to learn that Queens now has its very own snakehead infestation .  The snakehead craze of a year or two ago is one of my all-time favorite sensationalist news stories, beating out sharkaphobia, the imminent doom of South American killer bee swarms and the dreaded monkeypox by far.

Surely no one could believe that rubbish-fish that breathe on land and bite people!

Actually these creatures DO exist, and they are able to flop around on land for a bit and they do disrupt the ecosystem when introduced to it artificially. Whether it's true that they really bite people or not is something I can only fantasize about ;)
