I would like to truly thank everyone who commented kindly, or commented in any way, on my past few posts.  I swear to God that when I pump out all the whoah-is-me negativity that I am not pandering for niceties, but they are warmly welcomed regardless, as are advice and reality checks.  And in all actuality I am not the doom-clouded self-loather ( Read more... )

right now i just go to school, and im a live-in nanny for my best friends little brother, who is 2. its not a terrible job. i do get free rent in a really really nice house in a really expensive city to live in. so its good. the shitty diapers kinda suck, but i deal :)

i am looking for a paying part time job just so i can have some sort of spending cash, but i have yet to actually get one.

I'm a low-wage computer monkey...not technically allowed to say what I do because I signed a confidentiality contract (and yes, some guy got his ass in a sling for blogging about the company about two weeks ago, so they have their ways of finding out.) But the end product has something to do with in-car navigation systems.

Do I like my job? Hell no. But I recognize that without it, Terry and I wouldn't have a house, and a car, and dog (that we could call ours) so I keep going and pray that my writing will pay off before I'm forty.

I'm a customer service manager for Sears Automotive.

Do I like my job? If it weren't for the customers, it would be the best job ever!

Actually, it's one of the few jobs I've ever had where I've actually liked the majority of people there. It's a fun place to be if you don't take it too seriously.

And in about a year, I will (hopefully) be able to say that my other job is being an author. I can technically say that now, but right now it's a very part-time job. I love it!
