i'm in desperate need of some help. a club that i'm president of is hosting a foreign film night where we show a movie with foreign audio with english subtitles. my school offers french, spanish, and german, so we'll probably show a film with one/more of those languages. i really want to show joyeux noel or le diner de cons (dinner game), but they' ( Read more... )

I know a couple of great films, but I don't think they'll help much because they're not in the languages you require.
There's:
Tweeling, De (twin sisters) imdb link A absoloutely great film about the bond of twin sisters after they are seperated in 1926. (I think its in German, but maybe Dutch + english subtitles)

Monsoon Wedding imdb link
Another fantastic film inspired by family relationships, but put that in the midst of an arranged marriage and you have one massive and exciting plot. In Hini/English with english subtitles

Tsotsi imdb link
A great film about the redemption of a teen crippled by his circumstances. May not be what your countries ratings call PG13 tho. In Zulu with English subtitles

Not sure if its exactly what you were after, but they're good movies and worth watching anyway :)
