I bought 2 tix on E-bay for the April 10th game. I know on regular tix there is a tear off on the bottom with a scan code. These are season tix and it doesn't have that, just a season ticket number. Please tell me I haven't been taken. I'm taking my 8 year old godson for his birthday.

I was always under the impression that all tickets had the scan code thing. I could be wrong though

if the price was too good to be true they are probably fake. so i guess the question is, how much did you pay? was it much less than you expected? did the person you bought it from have a good ebay reputation? there isn't always a tearoff but if there is something to scan that is a good sign.

Sounds legit to me then :) People take their ebay reputation VERY seriously.

When I got my office season tickets last year, they had the logos of both teams like yours do. My memory was that there was a bar code, but it was smaller and not on a "stub" per se, but part of the ticket as a whole.

But I could be wrong.

Call the Red Sox:
877-REDSOX9

The official ticket office can tell you for sure.

Make sure that if the tickets are fake (fingers crossed for real) that you report the seller on Ebay.

Good Luck
