Sitting and doing nothing just like I always dreamt of doing.

Well technically, that's incorrect.  I'm checking my MySpace, listening to music, trying to get in touch with a customer, washing the towels, and writing.  But I am not:
-at summer school or studying for it
-working at Gap
-working at Vector or
-working on the yard/house.
At least for the time being.

I'm quitting Vector, either this week or next week.  ( Read more... )

I didn't know for sure if Vector was a scam or not, but I did hear a few bad things about the company. They tried to get me to work for them about a year ago and if I hadn't already had a job at Six Flags, I may have considered it more seriously.

About the Smashing Pumpkins, I heard their new CD comes out July 31st. I really don't want to have to wait that long, but at least it's for a good cause! Tarantula IS the shit and it's on my play list as well. I could just listen to it over and over, but I'm afraid to get sick of it. Can't wait to ask Chris just how loud you screamed!!!

Ugh, yeah, once I finished the orientation I was second-guessing myself about the job. The only thing that keeps me from truly hating it is that the product is genuinely good. The managers, however, are genuinely annoying.

I'm waiting to download any of the singles that come out until the whole CD is available; I'd rather listen to it in its entirety before I jump around in glee like a spaz. But, yes, it is the shit and I can't wait!!

Turns out I was wrong because I heard the other day on the radio that it should come out early July (Around the third). So far, Tarantula is available on a single CD and this other song from the new album was made available for purchase from iTunes.

Man, right now, I'm at my new job at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. I feel a little guilty right now, because I have nothing to do, so they're paying me to do nothing basically, today. The managers here are pretty cool. One of them plays his music out loud and it's usually R&B or Linkin Park. The reason I have nothing to do today is because the managers are also the vice presidents of their departments and they have to speak at this event that we've been preparing for all week. It's being held today at SAWS (Building Two) on 281 and is entitled "Meet the Buyer". All the major businesses like HEB, SAWS, Sam's Club, and so forth are going to be meeting with other smaller businesses to see how they can help each other.

Okay, I just went to www.smashingpumpkins.com (which claims to be the official website, but you never can tell with this kind of stuff), and they say new album "Zeitgeist" comes out July 10. I think I would have died of happiness if the album came out on my birthday, but this is sure-as-heck close enough! And starting June 26, you can pre-order the album on iTunes. Sweet-ness!

I'm glad you've told me a little about your job. Chris usually doesn't have much to say when I ask what you've been up to. I'm glad you like it and that the managers are nice. So do you usually go to meetings with the managers, or are you an intern, or a secretary? Anyways, HEB rocks, I bought some decent sushi from them for only $4 on my lunch break the other day.

Yep, I read it again, you should really thank me for that, and I've got to say again...Thank you for quitting vector. You will be alot more relieved when you finnally have some extra time to just chill with me or yourself. We all need time away from any job/work type stress.

Hey, if Mindless Self Indulgence asked you to get on stage in front of everyone there, do you think you could do it?

Last but not least, lalalalalalalalalala!

Quitting at the end of the week, until further notice. Yeah, I think it'll make me happier not working for them.

Doubt it. The speaker volume would probably make me bleed from the ears.

What do you mean, "Bleed from the ears."? Those are excuses, nothing more! What if you didn't bleed, what if it didn't matter, would you still say no? God knows I would, YEAH!
