Nobody ever believes that the bullying was ever as bad as one remembers it.

Ever.

IT DOES GET BETTER. No matter what it was for. I know that I wasn't taunted for my sexuality, or my lack of, but the taunting has affected my life in ways I'll never recover from. I don't believe there is a way to stop it, either. It's just the way people are.

But damn, it sucks from the inside. It sucks hard. And even when it gets better, you never forget it.
