Thanks for that Shakes post at the end - a fitting antidote to the barfworthy stylings of theferrett linked from rm's post.

And the Truck Project sounds like a brilliant idea!

And yet Moon is still on for Wiscon, isn't she? Sigh.

I need to clean my whole HOUSE before I have the party next weekend. Meep.

I'm less inclined to care if she's there. It's honoring her when she deserves none that I care about.

Also, I suspect that when she's there, she'll be in for quite the surprise at the face to face consequences of what she's wrought.

Exactly, it's the GoH thing that pisses me off. She shouldn't be HONOURED for being a bigot who won't listen to others' viewpoints in a debate.

The Truck Project sounds neat! I wonder if they'll be in NOLA when we are, as the weather is less chilly there.

The last link reminds me of a weird incident I encountered once while working at the call center for a major children's catalog. A woman called to place an order and then there was yelling and screaming and crying - not of the "Oh, crap! I stubbed my toe!" variety, but of the someone just came in and beat the crap out of this woman variety. I convinced my supervisor that we should contact the police for where the woman lived. It took some doing, since the internet was still underdeveloped, but we managed to contact authorities.

I really like your Halloween-themed icon. :)

J. Williams was always kind of annoying to me anyway.
