T-minus Three Days to Halloween

-I did another round of bleach last night, and I'll sit with toner on my head tonight. Whatever the outcome, I confess, I'm really starting to love it. I just hope that if the toner doesn't get me to white, the white hairspray will still work. I'm afraid that part of how that stuff works is the high contrast between the hair and the color you put

I don't watch Glee, but I do love Rocky Horror. Played Columbia for a short time in the local live cast. And I like that they did a subversive play on Frank. You can't handle a transvestite? Okay, how about a big black lesbian? AWESOME. I actually want to see the episode now.

I warn you, the end of the episode is terrible. After Toucha Touch Me, they seem to have stopped caring.

The Time Warp full on sucked. I wanted to be like this :D, but mostly I was like this :|.

It was lifeless. I mean, yeah, they were dancing and what not but...

There was no "there" there.

I have to decide whether to foof out my hair and spray it white for my costume, or just wear a white clown wig. (I'm doing Mark Twain)

I'd suggest buying some of the white hairspray and testing it out. If it works, yay, if not WIGZ TIEM.

I've got both, and figured I could return the wig unworn if the hairspray works. Trying it tomorrow. :-D

Careful with that. A lot of places won't accept returned wigs, even unopened in the package.

I have different (but similarly negative) feelings about that episode. I felt the Mercedes thing was not a subversive move, but rather a craven cop-out. They could have two girls kissing the week before, but they had to censor the lyrics "transsexual" and "heavy petting"? Garbage.

You can have Kurt and Finn dressed as Lady Gaga last season, but you can't have an actual Frank-N-Furter? Weak sauce.

Agreed. I love Mercedes (and Amber Riley), but the entire song is about being a transvestite. So they needed a dude.

Not only did the plot disintegrate (and we didn't really need a plot, anyway, honestly!), but the lyric sanitization was utterly baffling and had me shouting at the television.

Yeah. It was like someone suddenly turned off the autotune and everyone suddenly went off-key. (Oh snap.)
