-Holy shit, Mumford & Sons. They've been getting a lot of airplay here in Austin, and I've just absolutely fell in love with them. I bought their album, Sigh No More, the other day, and I just...wow. i'm bummed that mumford & sons is sold out here. i realllllly wanted to go. but such is life.

i don't mind southwest every now and again. i'm flying it home for thanksgiving, just because it was cheapest for us, and to take the beef with us.

have fun at fun fun fun! cramer's band is playing one of the after shows.. come see! mohawk, saturday. (he'll also be at the fest, so say hi if you see him.)

Yuck re: Rachel Adams' encounter with ICE. FWIW, *all* green-card holders have to have their papers inspected by immigration on entering the US, so I don't know why the Daily Fail is making a big thing of that. The immigration officer's rudeness was definitely out of line, though, even if said officer was probably feeling a little punchy after a long shift or something.

It's got a lot of the same creepy magical realism that I find (and adore) in a lot of Mountain Goats stuff, but with banjos! And fiddles!
