Yeah, I think Vimy is all the more brutal for how true it is.
I remember being in a Vetran's Day (though we called it Memorial Day in Canada) and looking out into the audience of kids ranging from 12-17 years old and seeing some of them really getting it for the first time. It's part of why I feel reenactment and performance are so important. If you can make someone empathize, even for a moment, you're changing the world.

Of all the things I've read and songs I've heard for Rememberance/Veterans' Day, this is the one that's hit me the hardest.
