It doesn't bother me. I don't think any of the viewers think they're right for saying those things. It's not funny because the digs at her. It's funny because of their very bad attempts to display what they think are textbook ways to show solidarity to their girlfriend.
I haven't watched in quite a while because I basically gave up once Priya became a recurring character. It wasn't that I didn't like HER, but I felt they were just using her as a plot device to eventually bring Leonard and Penny back together, or at least continue on that tension that I really, really don't care about.
I always read Amy Farrah-Fowler's hatred of Priya as her idea of the socially acceptable emotional response to the situation, not necessarily a genuine dislike of Priya as a person. And blech, didn't Penny like Priya for a little while? What happened?
Some of the reasons why I'm not missing much of the show (though LOVE me some Mayim!)
I liked how Priya gave Raj something else to do other than not talk to girls. And I like Leonard being with someone as smart and way better adjusted than he is. And I LOVED the episode with renegotiating the roommate agreement. It's just nice to have some storylines that aren't about Penny and Leonard.
I'd like to see it all resolved, but I can only imagine the fur that will fly once Priya finds out what's been said about her by women she thought were friendly.
See, my issue with her is the fact that she's trying to change Leonard into something he's not. She belittles and insults his geeky interests, she's trying to change the way he dresses and acts, and that just doesn't sit well with me. I wanted to like her, but the contact lens episode pretty much killed that for me. Her behavior in that episode really pissed me off - Leonard was in obvious discomfort/pain, and she was blowing it off because she thought he looked better with the contacts. (Not to mention the fact that the episode also featured pressure to change his friends for her). I forgave her a little bit in the one with the roommate agreement, but for the most part, I find her snobby, manipulative, and downright cruel to her brother at times.
It was "The Prestidigitation Approximation," episode #18 of this season. And yeah, pretty much killed the Priya thing for me. She's so awful in that one that I was pretty much screaming at Leonard to dump her and never look back the entire time.
Fair point about Raj, and I get the sibling-rag-on-each-other-dynamic. But Yeah, the episode above is why I am not on the Priya train - and I highly suggest you see it if you haven't.

I'm torn on this one. Because yes, she is, but he's not the nicest to her either, and face it: He gives her a lot to work with.

That's...fucking awful.
If I'd seen that previously, I'd probably have been viewing this story arc in a different light. Ugh.
