Why are mobsters glorified? I can't for the life of me figure this out. Movies and shows like Scarface, Sopranos, The Godfather, and Analyze This (and That) show these filthy criminals as heroes and want to make you, the audience, want to feel bad for them when something doesn't go their way. you know what tatar i couldnt disagree less your point is so valid its sick ( even though i liked scarface and anaylze this and that) if i ever end up becoming a screenwritter/director i am so gonna make a movie that bashes the hell outta mobsters!!

In general, those who skirt laws, oppress the innocent, and commit acts of wanton-violence are glorified by the media-at-large these days. From news papers to movies to Tv, those who screw over others are glorified, if for no other reason than "It makes the networks money" or "We need more sensationalism!". Again, total bullcrap! Come on, just how many people really love to spend 365 nights a year watching 10,001 ways to kill people, take their money, shoot their mailman, and kill their "wee doggy"?!
