I think the members of LDS and the catholic church have the same rights as other people in respects to their beliefs. You can scream conspiracy as much as you want, man.
As I've said elsewhere, just because someone is forced to tolerate something does not mean that they have to agree with it.
As for me? I voted against it.
But you, even now, have to accept the fact that sometimes the majority rules against you. Makes life much easier.
Majority ruled that they're not ready for it. don't blame the catholic church or LDS for it. The people themselves are the ones who voted against it. I hope they can come to terms with it eventually, but they're not ready for it yet. They made that known. I doubt over half of the people in california are cathoic or mormon.
Do the math, man. People chose on their own. It's their right to their opinion. Instead of attacking people for having different views, show them why you believe it's right. change their minds through kindness, not through anger.
