Excellent, i'll get a list of things we need drawn up in the next week or so. That way I can fit some of the critter races to the cultures. We are having the final culture meeting on tuesday.
However any satyr pic is appreciated. Especially if you can make it a little celtic looking. :)
'Fraid I can't help much in this area- I don't really draw the traditional mythological critters except for a few dragons here and there, and some anthro unicorns.
Badgers would fit under fanged I think. I'm not sure of their actual make-up. What would their tooth structure be called? Not too late to change things. I know badgers were hella popular in Maelstrom.
Well, badgers are carnivores, so they have fangs for sure.
I wouldn't want to try to fight in fursuit- too easy to damage the suit, and too hot as well as too clumsy.
But I found this site of a guy who makes these animal mask styled leather LARP helmets- and I've been thinking about trying to make one of a badger for Dag anyway. (I've been making a lot of wetformed leather armor, and I've got a ton of materials lying around.)
I made this cool looking badger head sigil plate for the center of my leather cuiraisse already.
How many drawings you need, in what style, do you want additional races, I need the racial cultures for each of the races listed(Or at least, what they're loosely based apoun) and I can have them on your desk by next monday.
We need enough to fill the rule book. It's not going to be huge, as the emphasis is on simple rules. But i'd love most of the races/cultures covered if I can.
Style - anthro is great for this, as I need it to look like something a player could play. (But not pics of humans in masks or anything).
Black and white would be best, as the book probably won't be in colour except for the front image.
We are having the final culture meeting on tues, and then i'll make up a list of whet I need. You don't have to do it by Monday, but thanks. ;)
We're looking to print it up by mid Feb (before if we can manage it)! So anytime december or most of Jan is cool. :)
There are numerous simliar pics in my VCL archive there- older pieces, but they are already drawn. Have a look, and let me know by email or here if theres anything you would like to use. I have black and white versions of many of the colored ones in my files, but they are not on line.

it all sounds really cool!
I've been kind of itching to do a good satyr lately, so it should be fun (and I kinda figured they'd be black and white images, so that's cool) :)

You need something you can see and breathe in, and most importantly - something you can wear all day, alone, unaided.
That's why my Gnolls have no bottom jaw, it adds 5hrs to the time you can wear them.
