T and I went to the Prairie Home Companion show... I've been meaning to write about it. I kinda found the show to be boring but T enjoyed it immensly! Mostly because the host is a scandinavian Lutheran like T's family. T's Mother, J, really enjoys the show on the radio.
Glad your family enjoyed the fair. I try to stay away from the noise as much as possible. I only went to see the show this year.

we don't have them over here, but when i was little i used to love to go to our state and county fairs. the only thing i ever entered was a batch of cookies i baked when i was six (got a blue ribbon, as i recall). i never cared about the rides, but i was very happy with all the animals!
every so often we got to go 'do the puyallup' -- there's a song they made for the fair that i really liked, it's here at:

(the country version is the one from when i was a little kid)
