The colour of the night kept changing; gradually fading into nothingness and then miniscule dots of colour would illuminate his senses and the darkness would regain its pigmentation. He tried to focus as the very texture of the air seemed to shift and transform and common objects mutated into shapes that he couldn’t comprehend.

I'm so lovin' this fic *A* how the story is going and their characters ♥ and like I mentioned before Kame's personality in here is very interesting and playful. One second he's all playful and plain and the other he is all careful and insecure .. I'm definitely looking forward to read more of this ♥

Awww thank you. I'm really enjoying working on these characters, trying to give them several different layers and make them a little more complex than usual. I just hope I succeed at it!

The background confused me a bit. I know about China and how their citizens were poisoned with drugs till the whole country was taken over. So this is a Japanese near that period too?
Yamapi as an addict, quite fresh. He only has half mind clear, so it explains the vulnerability and weakness in him. Still your characters are a living question mark.
I did hope that Kazuya was a pain in the ass, but turns out that he only did it when he was drunk. Quite bold though, as he called Jin directly by the name just after the 2nd encounter. I wonder what makes the relationship between them.

Eeek. Sorry if the background was confusing. It's referring to the opium wars in China, and the repercussions that affected Japan.

I'm still working on building the characters, I don't want to reveal everything about them immediately. As for Kazuya, he's quite complicated, and he is going to be challenging Jin more and more...once he gets over the shock of whats just happened XD

I actually wanted to make Jin a real ass but he just didn't end up that way!
He's a tough guy but he's starting to realise his softer side ;)
