When I got home this evening, it was twilight, and it had stopped raining for a bit, and it was so cool because I could just smell Spring, it was this woodsy new smell. I didn't notice it last year really. I can also smell jasmine, which is a favorite of mine.

It is that cool crisp smell in the evening, when the weather starts to change and the humidity is gone. It is just so clean smelling, which is pretty hard to come by in NY.
It always happens around the start of school, that is why I named it that.
My ex-husband will email me or post to one of my pages that it smells like school, to keep me in the NY loop.
