[ despite the obvious warnings, B had still managed somehow to be surprised by thunderclaps and the downpour. like a cat he'd threaded his way through covered spaces, seeking a more permanent shelter and hopefully company as well.

suddenly he notices a young woman, one he hasn't met yet in nearly a week of being here. noticing as well an open shop, he gestures to her and wrenches open the door, battling a fierce gust of wind. ]

[it takes a while before Kay notices the man - its getting hard to see what with the wind trying to blow her hair into her face - but she sees how he's at a shelter and he was company. Thus without hesitation she quickly makes her way towards where he stands, and doesn't waste time before she ducks through the open door where the inside greets her with warmth and comfort.]

[ feeling a little bit of pride in himself -- he can be polite if he feels it's necessary, holding open a door for a young lady, A+ to him.

anyway.

he flashes her a grin, not bothering to make it deliberately creepy like he normally would. now that he can see her face, her name shows up crimson as well and it's quite normal, which is comforting. ]

[Kay grins back in return - though hers is just a little more sheepish and she shakes her head to get rid of the hair that had been plastered to her face. The ornamental key-shaped pin on her hair tinkles as she does so, the small pins clinking against each other from the action.

Once that's done, she grins again, crossing her arms as she speaks.] Thanks a lot, mister! You really helped me in a tight spot there.
