A few tips for you so no one on your friends list complains, you can use a lj-cut when posting a story. This allows the story to appear behind the cut so it doesn't overwhelm your friends list.

Actually, I only joined because I'm thinking of writing some BBC Sherlock fic. I thought I'd post my X-files stuff just so there was something on my journal - and also so I can have something to re-work. Is it a problem posting so much at once? I don't have any 'friends' yet, so there's no-one to be overwhelmed!
Anyway, thanks again for the invite and the good advice. Must get to bed now, as it's nearly one in the morning.

As for posting alot there is no problem with it, everyone posts according to their whims and time.
