A Merry Christmas to you and your family, dear lady. Ours is still somewhat up in the air as my mother has eye surgery in two days and while we expect that she and dad will be home for Christmas, that may change if they have to stay longer in Sacramento.

It'll be a little different without my grandmother, but we will do just fine. We had a memorial service for her friends here on December 7th-quite fitting as it was two days after what would have been her 90th birthday and was on the 71st anniversary of her marriage to my grandfather. They married on December 7, 1942-a year to the day after the attack at Pearl Harbor. Grandfather was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Reserve at the time.

Happy Birthday!! Hope you have a good day.

My mother-in-law's birthday is Dec 7th and Carvis tells her that Pearl Harbor was Japan's reaction to finding out she was born here rather than there.

Thanks. I'm having a great day so far. Our office has it's Christmas party tomorrow evening, so I will have to drive in-it's being held at a local restaurant.

I'll have a piece of artwork to post in the journal this evening, once I get home.
