Beltane. It's cold, rainy weather, not a good night for being outdoors. She checks with some of the other practitioners in the Boston area, and hears that they're going to have an open gathering tomorrow for the festival. She may join them, but she ( Read more... )

She comes to the house's front door, and knocks. Brien and Oz have come along, one standing to each side of her.

"Me, miss an excuse to party?" Faith laughs, hugs her, then spots Sierra.
"Hey munchkin. How're you?"

Tadc's in the mood to show off, so he appears rather than knocking,
flash of light and thunderclap and he stands by the fireplace. Carries
a bottle of champagne and a bouquet of sunflowers.

"I heard something about a festival?"

Hi, and yes. *smiles, coming over to him* Beltane's for anybody.
Including stubborn Riders, she adds teasingly.

Me, stubborn? Silent laughter. This'll be fun.

Are the other Riders coming, do you know?

Between worrying about Connor, Kara and the Immortal, Darla had spent more time pacing up and down in the last week than at any point after Angelus got souled. Which would leave her in no condition to face either Manners or Justine. She needed to unwind. Having heard about a Beltane celebration, she decides this sounds like a good idea, and soon finds herself standing in front of Willow's door.

Tadc's chatting with Sierra and is the first to spot the elegantly dressed woman at the front door. He goes over to open it, smiling.
Good evening. Willow! he calls, turning slightly. We've more company...

*hurries over* Darla? *surprised, gives her a warm smile* Hello!

Seeing the unfamiliar but powerful looking man and then Willow, Darla smiles at both of them.

Hello.

*to Willow*

It's been a while since my last party, and Beltane sounded just ideal, so... I hope you don't mind?

Adding with a deadpan expression

I always wanted to follow up that salad with something stronger.

Red enters hesitantly, flanked by three men. Two easily recognizeable as Twins, light and dark, the third hovering behind all tall and thick like a bodyguard. Soft slacks and a t-shirt and a hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over. Hiding, a little, in the protection of her brothers. It's one thing to be around Michael, quite another to unbend enough to go out to a party. Even one with friends, people she knows.

Willow's been listening, content, to Oz as he plays a song by Van Morrison for her. She catches sight of Red and her escort, and stands up to
walk over to them.
"Red, hi! I'm so glad you came." Smiling politely at the three men. "Blessings."

The Twins nod, smile. Aidan moves over to hug Willow, kisses her forehead, looks around the crowd.

The big guy looks around, but remains hovering over his little sister. "Nice place you got."

Willow hugs Aidan back, before turning her attention to the third man.
"I like to think so." Calmly. "I know of Aidan and Adrian of course,
but what should we call you?"

He pops in, no fanfare, at his host's elbow.
Blessed be. There's a sardonic note in his voice, but he
bows courteously to Willow.

She doesn't let herself react visibly, only a slight gasp and then
glare. Which turns to a blank expression.*

Blessed be. And next time you do that, be prepared to get smacked. Hard.
