I remember seeing the original 3 movies in theaters when they first came out, but I've always been more of a Star Trek girl. I sat through the 3 that came out in the past few years. Just don't teach them that Jar Jar Binks is cool. That would be wrong. :-)

I think I'd sooner teach my kids to worship Satan than to think that JarJar is cool. Not only is he annoying as all hell, but he's such an obvious characture of early Hollywood and vaudeville stereotypes of blacks that I'm still surpised that there wasn't more backlash from the African-American community.

Jar Jar was massive fail. Whenever my coworkers leave their computers unlocked, I change their desktop wallpaper to Jar Jar Binks.

Only under the protection of internet anonymity I'm willing to admit that a) I really enjoyed Episode One and b) I actually kind of liked Jar Jar Binks!

Star Wars was just on Spike yesterday. Kyle had turned it on and I don't know which one it was, but it was at the scene with Jaba the Hut. I always thought Jaba was kinda cool. Anyway, Kyle didn't want to watch it. Yeah. He doesn't like anything Star Wars or Star Trek related.....odd kid, that one!! ;)
