Not sure whether you'd want to work there, but a few of my friends work for Starbucks and absolutely love it. Even though they're part time, they get benefits, and they have pretty flexible schedules. Or maybe see if there are any jobs at the school your kids go to, like an extra bookkeeper, or teacher's aide or something. :)

I'm so sorry to hear about your sister, and relieved she didn't succeed. It is a lot like dealing with an addict, you can force them to do what's best for them, as much as you'd like to.

I often read ppl's journals but dont always post .. I keep thinking this shite has GOT to end .. all the job & financial woe's .. Not to mention the madness in the family, but I guess we all have a bit of that, dont we ?
It hit badly this time, my older brother actually commited suicide a few years ago, so of course I wanted to scream at my sister, but I think she felt bad enough already :( She's almost 50 now, but still cannot see when she is taking a bad turn :(
Anyway, thanks for the sweet words hon! It's always nice to read! *Hugs*
