Web Hosting?

So my dad is looking for web hosting for his band's website...does anyone know of any reliable companies he can go through for hosting? (I'd prefer a non-descript kinda site, since I'm not sure he'd want to be hosted on yiffyfoxxxes.com or anything ;) )

I use dreamhost and have so for 5-6 years now? A long time at the very least :3 They are wonderful and well worth the $$ :)

Right on - thanks for the advice! I sent him along the information and for another day I maintain the illusion that I am in touch with the information age ;)

...and yeah I did think there was something big n shiny missing from my con :) Mike and I did our best sociopath act for the entire con. It's been a rough year, but if all goes well by next fall we'll be able to get our asses out of Cali and out to swingin' MFF.

GoDaddy.com, been on them for s couple years now with no problems at all. Prices are great for what they offer compared to others. Their customer support is often proactive in contacting you with live people via phone to assist with your needs. Avoid Yahoo & UplinkEarth, they have been very bad to a number of people I know recently (who have all switched very happily to GoDaddy recently BTW).
