Does anyone like leather seats? To me something like the sporty cloth seats that James has are perfect. I really don't see the advantage that leather has over cloth, and in several cases I'd just outright think cloth is better. But at some point as you move up to the better trim packages on a car, leather gets in there somehow. I guess it's

I had a 94 Nissan Maxima. It was okay at first (I got it in 1999) but I quickly hated it. Nissan had a chronic problem with window motors, which by now I can only hope is fixed (though I have had a couple of friends with Nissans/Infinitis that had the same window problem as recently as 2001/2). The thing I do miss about the Nissan Maxima is the sunroof. Unfortunately none of the true hybrids come with sun/moon roofs. It did have leather, which for the most part I liked. I don't wear girlshorts, so the hot seats during the summer weren't a problem (though my white ex-girlfriends did complain). However, the leather cracked due to my lack of care and upkeep. If I could get a Prius with leather (well, I could've, but it would've been like $7k more), I would've gotten leather

So as long as I don't have any white girlfriends I should be good? But much like Ike said too, I guess it's something that sounds like a problem, but then you realize that guys just don't wear shorts that are short enough to create a problem. If I do end up with leather, I'll probably take care of it out of paranoia that it will end up looking crappy
